I am trying to calibrate my model to groundwater levels. I am testing the sensitivity of a range of parameters in the UZ and SZ, one of which is Ksat in the UZ. For some reason the modeled groundwater levels show no sensitivity to changes in Ksat. I checked using AUTOCAL and manually by changing the Ksat value in the UZ to very high and very low values and there was no response.
The MIKE SHE manual lists Ksat as a calibration parameter so there must be some sensitivity on groundwater levels.
I also experimented with the example files, Karup_Example.she, provided with MSHE software. This also show no response to altered Ksat values.
Why does MIKE SHE not pick this up?
