I want to analyse the water table fluctuations during a flood event,
I have 3 cases , for each case I assign  different material properties of the unsaturated zone (Sr, Ss, A and n)
The objectice is to see what is the influence of the material properties on the quantities of the infiltrated water?
My question is: when comparing the budget analyser at the final time of the simulation , the fluxes of the three cases don't vary  :o
Is that normal?

Dear Bastian,

If the equation system is nonsymetric and using  the Precoditioned lanczos type BiCGSTABP method (default), Why I have the log message with IF PCG  :o

In my cense,  PCG IF is specific to symmetric equations systems)!!!!

I'm Trying to run a unsaturated transient flow,
When running the simulation, at each step, it was marqued at the bottom of the Feflow window these messages:
- assembling matrix for the flow equations
-computing discontinuous velocity field
-drawing fringed fiels

and [b]-Incomplete fractorisation (IF) preconditioning for conjugate gradient method

What does this message mean??

Thank you....it is OK for activating the save button, but unfortunately  I don't have the possibility to save in shp formats!!

When I customise or create new formats:

1. I have an error box: database error.........xxxxxx_lines.shp :no such file or directory
2. in driver I can choose ESRI shape File format , but it wasn't the case for the Format
3. ignorant all these pbs, the shp that I have doesn't give anything

In order to save a 3D object in a *.shp format, I must use the tool save in 3D options....
Unfortunately, this tool is not active and I don't know why?

Is it possible that when we apply a hydraulic head of 14 cm during 24 hours at the top of an heterogenous column, that the saturation profile doesn't vary through the time ????
I mean by this that there's no infiltartion that happens due to this event!!!
P.S: hydrodynamic parameters vary from one horizon to another, I supposed A is small to help the model to infiltrate!!!!!but I haven't any reaction from the model!!!

I put a final time of simulation of 10 days. When I observe the results in the postprocessor , i see that the final time is 4.77 days.
Has the model a problem so that it has not finished the simulation or what's the matter??
