I am trying to define a transient multi-species transport problem but in the simulation-time control panel, if the problem is multi-species, I just get the available option Automatic time.step control. Does this means that, for a transient multi-sepcies transport problem FEFLOW does not simulate for Constant time stes neither for variable time steps?

Good morning: I am trying to set up a multispecies transport problem in transient regime but in the simulation time control pannel I just get the option Automatic time-step control active. How do I do if I want to use Constant time-steps or Varying time-steps?

I want to simulate a transient problem (simple flow) and need to define period budgets but I don't understand how this is done. Can someone help me? Are these period budgets defined in the Problem Settings panel in Prescribes Aditional simulation time steps option? But if I am using the option Varying time steps, how do I do it, once such Prescribes Aditional simulation time steps is not available for such option?

concerning my former posts on this issue:
I never used multiple assignment. What I did was:
1st - selected specific storage in panel Data
2nd - defined a selection
2nd - stored the selection
3rd - selected conductivity in panel Data
4th - activated the stored selection
5th - edited the conductivity values in the area of that selection
FEFLOW edited the values... but reshaped completely the distribution of ALL other properties. So now I have my conductivity OK but all my other properties have just 2 areas with 2 values in the whole domain of the model.
How can I change conductivity WITHOUTH changing the other properties?

No, I didn't use multiple assignment and the error is consistent in the way that if I do the procedure one day and the error occurs. If do Undo eand the following day I do the same procedure, the problem still remains.

I want to edit the conductivity in an area where the specific storage is =0.01.
I select that area - while the specific storage acvtivated - and store it in the panel Selections. Then I activate the conductivity, click the selection stored in panel Selection and do the edition.
In the end I get the area edited with the values I wish for conductivity BUT... all the other model properties and variables are also edited, which is something I didn't asked for.
In fact, if I had 4 values for specific storage along the model I now have only 2 areas with values 0 and 1. The same goes for the other properties.
How can I edit the conductivity using this selection WITHOUT changing the other properties? Or is this behaviour clearly a bug?

I am trying to use selections to edit properties. I want to use a nodal selection intersection with a element selection but altough FEFLOW seems to do this, it also does somethign that I don't want. It changes not only the propriety I am working it but all properties in the model are completely changed and zonal distributions of the parametes are lost. Just the intersected area and the rest of the model are set with values, usually 0 and 1.
How can I overcome this?

I want to edit the conductivity in an area where the specific storage is =0.01. So I selcet that area - with specific storage acvtivated - and store it in the panel Selections. Then I activate the conductivity, click in the selection stored in panel Selection and do the edition.
In the end I get the area edited with the values I wish foir conductivity BUT FEFLOW also used that selection to change all values and spatial disptributions of all model properties. Meaning that if I had 4 values for specific storage along the model I now have only 2 areas with values 0 and 1. The same goes for the other properties.
How can I edit the conductivity using this selection WITHOUT changing the other properties?

I have a very simple model and wanted to import another model to add to this small model. Is this possible? And if so, how?

OK, Thanks
