Hello all,
I would like to ask if I can use Feflow 5.2 in vista environment.
If not what do I have to do?
Thank you

Hello all,
I want to use pest in a 3D transient flow transient transport model in an unconfined aquifer with moving mesh. I have only found a pdf "The PEST Module - Introduction" to help me. Is there any other document or application of PEST , especially in 3D, that I can read to learn how to use it?
I use the Feflow 5.2 and I can use PEST only for the flow problem. Does Feflow 5.3 use PEST for transport problems to?
Thank you

Hello all,
After assigning boundary and initial conditions in my problem, I use the smooth mesh property. The problem is that nodes that correspond to wells are moved. I don't know if after this, pumping rates are still stand. What I must do to smooth the mesh, but to not move my nodes at wells?
Thanks

I use Feflow 5.2

Hello all,
In visual ModFlow, I can see from the output that there are calibration plots of calculated versus observed head and consentrations. Is there an option like that in feflow? If there isn't such an option, what is the prosedure of calibration?
Thanks

Hello all,
I have built a model with 57992 6-noded prismatic triangular elements, and 31901 nodes. When I am trying to simulate the mass transport my PC crashes.
Can any one help me? Is there any requirements on PC's RAM or CPU?
My PC's characteristics are Pentium 4 , 3.00 Ghz CPU, 1.00GB RAM
Thanks

Hello all
I want to simulate a karst aquifer in 3D, and I model channels as 1D discrete feature elements. With the join tool I assign the time varying rain values at the top of aquifer. I want to simulate a time varying concentrated recharge in channels (discrete feature elements), that they are in the second slice. How can I do it?
Thanks

Hello all,
I am trying to simulate a 3D density dependent model. Feflow stops the simulation and show the message:
"Nonpositive determinant for elemenent 104 ...."
How can I find that element in the mesh?
What can I do to fix my mesh???
Can I define the exact length of elements?

Robert, thanks for your help.
I had not incorporated viscosity and the extended Boussinesq approximation.
I will simulate my model again and I wish to visualize the wedge.
Thanks again
