  • FEFLOW License Management: No connection info for relay server

Thu, 22 Apr 2021 16:48:44 GMT – FEFLOW License Management: No connection info for relay server
    Hi,

does anybody has problems to connect the Internet license ??
I can't get a connection to the relay server. But I have no idea, what I should do now.

The adress is physically available and can be reached with other software.

Does anyone has an idea ?

I use MIKE License administrator 2021 and FEFLOW 7.4 Upd 1.

    Dear Sashen,

I think, this should be addressed to the MIKE support.

    Hi Rahul,

I assume the reason is, that the item type is set to UNDEFINED.
Try to define it as Surface elevation.

    Hi.

you can try to add a small deeper basin "beyond" the boundary and assign the boundary condition there.
In most of the cases, this helps to stable the boundary condition.

    Hi,

I think F2 should do the job.

  • Re: Fluid Transfer BC or Hydraulic Head BC?

Wed, 23 Jan 2019 12:52:07 GMT – Fluid Transfer BC or Hydraulic Head BC?
    Hi,

the transfer rate is clearly defined in the FEFLOW documentation.
It is related to a virtual clogging layer in a river.

    http://www.feflow.info/html/help72/feflow/09_Parameters/Boundary_Conditions/Flow/fluid_transfer_bc.html

The definition of the Transfer Rate can be found here:
    http://www.feflow.info/html/help72/feflow/09_Parameters/Material_Properties/flow_parameters.html
in the section: Transfer Rate (Fluid)

    ok. got it for myself.
the second parameter is simply the node number.

But nevertheless, i am not sure, how this is to be interpreted in Python:

    IfmBudgetComponents *pBudgetComp
Opaque pointer of budget flux components.

to retrieve other components than the boundary condition related flux.
