Why does the MIKE software not recognize the GPU cards on my server?
By default high performance GPUs are only accessible if you are running a simulation directly from the computer with the installation.
When you apply a server for a MIKE Zero FM simulation you typically use a remote login. This may prevent the application of GPUs in the simulation due to the use of a simpler GPU driver that Windows defaults to when accessed remotely.
This problem may be resolved by installing a small 3rd party VNC software, which may ensure that the existing driver for the GPU is not downgraded for the remote login.
VNC Connect - https://www.realvnc.com - is an example of such a 3rd party software.
