Hi,

I am creating a 2D vertical planar steady state flow model.

Problem 1:
I tried to assign seepage face to a boundary. I double clicked on "hydraulic head-BC", selected several nodes by double clicking "seepage face_upper" under Node Selection, chose "seepage face", and clicked on the check mark.

An window popped up, saying:

Max. flow-rate constrained cannot be displayed for Domain/seepage face_upper/Node Slice Intersection. Please select at least one compatible spatial unit before adding a data or map source to a view.

But the view window still shows the seepage face. I checked the seepage face using Inspector, and things seems fine.

But when I selected the same node manually (not by double clicking "seepage face_upper" under Node Selection), everything worked fine.

Problem 2:
Another problem then came. When I chose the same nodes, and clicked on the cross mark, I cannot deleted these seepage face BC (when Seepage Face shown in the Editor tool bar); An error window popped up, saying "invalid pointer"! Why?

I never had this problem with FEFLOW 6.1.

Thanks for help.

Dear Quinn,

Thank you for your very detail post. It helped me to reproduce the problem and found out a bug in assignment/removal of seepage face BC in FEFLOW 6.2. (p2). I already passed request to the responsible developer.

Cheers,

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

When do you think the revised/upgraded version 6.2 could be issued?

Thanks,

Quinn
