Hi everyone!

I am trying to model the anaerobic digestion of mixed sludge in the sludge line.

The sludge line includes two dewatering units (1st static, 2nd dinamic -how should I mimic that?-), an anaerobic digestion unit, a post dewatering unit and a centrifuge unit.

When I start the simulation, the model returns an error related to the anaerobic digestion block: "<Lower bound: AD.1.Trans_Out.Inflows(S_ch4)". I guess it is because I miss some inputs. I was wondering what kind of data should I look for first in order to ask the plant operator.

What inputs does the AD block need in the model?

Hi!

I am using ASM 1; every last ASU tank in each AS line is just a stirring tank (always non aerated) in order to reduce the oxygen content before NO recycle to avoid affecting the denitrification. The oxygen content in the model is around 1.1-1.2 mg/l, is it possible to lower it? How?

Hi everyone!

I am a beginner with WEST.
I was wondering how to create a suitable input file for WEST. I wrote a txt file with time, flowrate,  COD, BOD, TSS NH4 and TP concentrations: the wizards reads it but when I try to generate the reale input file something goes wrong and it doesn´t work. Any idea? any suggestion with the block library set up settings or with the fractionation settings?
