When the same model is run in MIKE 11 using MIKE Classic engine, the model is calibrated quite well. However, again it did not run with MIKE 1D engine in MIKE 11. This is quite weird and challenging.

Can anybody explain what could be the possible reason?

Hi all,

I am trying to calibrate MIKE HYDRO NAM for a single catchment under Rainfall Runoff module only. I set everything to calibrate the model but calibration tool is not working at all. In short, it only shows observed Q but produce no simulated Q. Not a single parameter is updated.  What could be the possible reason for this.

Hi,

I have more than 1500 manhole for stormwater network and around 600 manholes for overland flow (OF) network. While assigning Network type to each manhole, I have to go to attributes of individual manhole and select stormwater or OF manually which is quite time consuming for 2100 manholes.

Could you please guide me if I can just select all the 1500 manholes at once and assign them stormwater network as well as OF. 

I tried to locate in user's manuals but could not get it.

Thanks for your response. Regarding #1; how can we delineate catchments within previously delineated catchments? What I was trying to do previously was treating catchpits as manhole and the delineating catchments for all of them. However, I do not think that is appropriate technique.
Now what I understood is I can dra surface and subsurface manhole and their corresponding open channel and pipe networks. Then I can join them together to perform 1D model.
Am I right?

Hi,

I am quite new with MU. I am preparing a model with both OF and pipe network. However, I am unable to delineate sub catchments based on the two types of network. Actually, I have a catchment with 626 ha area. It has OF and more than 1500 manhole and around 800 catchpits. Can anyone guide me which methodology I should adapt to prepare the final model?
All the guidance would be highly appreciated.
