working on a 25k+ pipe network and I am not able to reproduce the described behavior...
Having said that, I am working on 2016 beta.
Would be interesting to see if the problem still exists after you have upgraded to 2016. Alternatively please feel free to contact support, ideally (if possible) send the model as well.

Hi,
the ArcGIS product supplied with MIKE URBAN is an ArcEDITOR (these days called: ArcGIS for Desktop Standard).
Have you tried the EXPORT to CAD tool (ArcToolbox)? Result should be a CAD readable file that conatins attributes like color and line weight.
With these attributes you should be able to (re-)symbolize your layer in Microstation.

Hi,
the set-up your are already using today looks pretty good to me.
So far MIKE URBAN is not utilizing the GPU, so a faster graphic card will not speed up processes, also using 16 instead of 8 gig will not really improve the performance. The only thing I could think of is the processor, the faster the better.
Harddrive may have an impact on the performance but there are only minor improvements to be expected using a faster HDD, e.g. a solid state disk.
