• Problem of filter-wash cycle

Hi,
I’m working on the biofiltre modelling in WEST, which needs to build a filter-wash cycle in model. I have some calculation problems in the control of the cycle when run simulation. I wrote my codes and the description problem in the attachment.

Thank you very much for your every time’s help.

• Error: "System error: Not found: BAF_1.C_1_2_3"

Hello,

I have built a biofilter model with 5 layers of biofilm. I have tested my model with ASM1 <<instance>>, the model can run without error. After that, i changed instance with some new components added. All the grammatical errors have been solved.

When i ran simulation, i found a system error: Not found: BAF_1.C_1_2_3. I know that the ''BAF_1'' is the bloc i built. But i don't understand what dose ''C_1_2_3'' means. C may be the concentration.

Can you help me to figure out what dose that means?

Thank you very much!

Best regards.

• Questions about simulation

Hello,
Here is my questions about simulation:

1)The communication interval which I set is 0.003472 (d) (please find the screenshot in the attachment), but in the output, what I receive is not exact 0.003472 (0.0035011 (d) for example).
How can I get the exact communication interval which I fix for output?

2)Can I use two different instances in one project (for example ASM1temp et ASM2d)? What should I do if it’s possible?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

• Problem with adding top level parameters

Hi,
I have a problem when I tried to add a parameter (one of parameter variable in the array of parameters variables) as a top level parameter.

The message showed by WEST is: <<Cannot create a top-level parameter linked to the variable ‘D_i (H2O)’: it is of type vector. >>.

The model which I work with is a model modified from tricklingfilter1D (biofilm). So I also tried to do the same thing to tricklingfilter1D (the original one) and I had the same results.

Can you tell me how to solve this problem? It seems to me that we have problem for adding a parameter variable which belongs to an array of parameters variables in the top level parameters?

Please see the attachment for more information.

Thank you very much.
Best regards
