Hi, everyone:
If I use Manning value is constant (=5, I know it is unreasonable) in HD/Resistance, that is allowed, but result is wrong.
So, I create a Manning file, total grid is 320*753, boundary band have 10 grid lines equal 5, and center grid equal 20, but it did't run.
Remark say:" you can specify a small band (2 to 4 grid lines) with a very high resistance. Manning numbers in the range 5 -10 m1/3/s have been applied successfully."( I did. But it can't run. )
And log file say:"Bed resi. file does not cover sim. period", I don't understand what it mean.

Dear Ben:
My friend find the problem and solve it.
I use "Grid Series", after set up and paste data, the data need some change.
Between water and land's data must be only -2 and 10, if water' data is between -2 to 10, replace by -2 (land is 10, water is -2, it can't be -2~10 number). You can use Matlab to change data.
Is that right? any problem?
and you're right, Ben, thank you very much!

Dear all:
I'm mike 21 new user,
Now I use HD to create a typhoon case and I can't run completely. My case need spend 1.28 hour, but it broken about 10 mins.
and the .txt file always say: " elevation to low on flooded boundary " or "Blow file"
I thought it would be: "Initial Surface Elevation" and "Boundary level value" was inconsistent, or maybe was manning value, or the land file"bathymetry.dfs2".
I need your help, thanks!
Best regards,
Emily
