Dear all:
I'm mike 21 new user,
Now I use HD to create a typhoon case and I can't run completely. My case need spend 1.28 hour, but it broken about 10 mins.
and the .txt file always say: " elevation to low on flooded boundary " or "Blow file"

I thought it would be: "Initial Surface Elevation" and  "Boundary level value"  was inconsistent, or maybe was manning value, or the land file"bathymetry.dfs2".

I need your help, thanks!

Best regards,
Emily

Dear Emily,
i just experience the same case last week as it broke down after 10 min with the same error:
elevation to low on flooded boundary or "Blow up

a friend told me maybe was manning value cannot put constant, have to link to manning value in map.

Instead ,the problem might cause by at wet boundary. So I make sure my boundaries  which i need to insert dfs1 to be below initial water level. M21 will run....good luck

Dear Ben:
My friend find the problem and solve it.

I use "Grid Series", after set up and paste data, the data need some change.
Between water and land's data must be only -2 and 10, if water' data is between -2 to 10, replace by -2 (land is 10, water is -2, it can't be -2~10 number). You can use Matlab to change data.

Is that right? any problem?
and you're right, Ben, thank you very much!
Emily
