• Simulation blow up

    Hi,

    I'm running a large-scale wave transformation simulation using ECMWF data and I noticed something peculiar in my output results (time series at some point near the shore). The peak-wave-direction changes overtime in what seem to be discontinuous steps, whereas the mean-wave-direction changes smoothly over time, as it well should. 

    Any idea on what may control this difference?

  • Shoreline morphology - sea wall

    How would I impose a solid boundary beyond which the shoreline cannot retreat ?
