Hi,
When I apply acceleration factor >1, are the output variables Net and gross
sediment transport multiplied by the factor? or are the 'original' values given?
thanks,
Shai

Hi,

I've been generating Q3D tables for a certain case study.
sometimes the calculation rate is ~2000points/sec and sometimes its 200points/sec ***for the same settings*** ***one the same machine***
has anyone ever come across this bug, and if so - what did you do to solve it?

thanks,
Hi,
I encountered some oddity in mzWriteMesh.m. Say I open a mesh with some local project and alter the node values. Then, I save the altered mesh, and the projected coordinates are fine, but the underlying geographical coordinates are wrong, which is to say, the projection is wrong. Perhaps I'm writing the wrong entry in the "coordinate system" in the function?
any thoughts would be appreciated

Hi,

I have a question about output items.
How do I calculate bottom level change from bottom level values?
I want to make sure the calculation is right.

Thanks,
Shai

Hi,

I'm trying to run a near-shore 2d simulation (HD+SW) with wind forcing (applied only to the HD part).
The issue i'm facing is that whatever boundary conds I set, the simulation blows up (except for flather, but those give me unreliable results).

any thoughts on how to stabilize the simulation would be appreciated,

Cheers,
Hi,
I was wondering what is DHI's recommendation regarding the use of curvilinear grids in the SM module (at least far enough away from regions with diverging flow).
any thoughts?

Hi,
Where can I find the criterion by which MIKE21/3
HD and SW switch between spherical and cartesian coordinates solver formulations?
Thanks, Shai

Hi,
I'm running a large-scale wave transformation simulation using ECMWF data and I noticed something peculiar in my output results (time series at some point near the shore). The peak-wave-direction changes overtime in what seem to be discontinuous steps, whereas the mean-wave-direction changes smoothly over time, as it well should.
Any idea on what may control this difference?
cheers,
Shai

Hi,
How would I impose a solid boundary beyond which the shoreline cannot retreat ?
any thoughts would help,
Thanks,
Shai
