Answer

You may see the error message when attempting to start or use a specific feature in MIKE software. This error indicates that the feature you are trying to access is no longer covered by a valid entitlement. This error is license-related and It does not indicate data corruption or project file issues.

The error message may look slightly different in other MIKE software, see example in MIKE+ in Fig.  2.

To investigate the issue here are the steps you shall follow in order:

#01 Check your license validity in DHI License Manager 2026 under column ‘Expire date’, see example in Fig. 3. If the feature has expired please reach out to us for a quotation on license extension. If the feature has not expired you can move to next step.

# 02 make sure the time zone on your PC is synced

  • Go to ‘Date and time’ settings and making sure your time zone is showing correctly

  • Then Under ‘Additional settings’ choose ‘Sync now’

  • If the automatic sync failed you shall try to set up the time zone manually by choosing the time zone from the list.

Now you can try to launch MIKE software again.
