Question
How to get started with DHI PlumeCast?
Answer
DHI PlumeCast is a service that enables executing, processing, and visualizing plume dispersion models via a webpage. Prior to using the service, the MIKE models are pre-configured and stored in a user-specific tenant in MIKE Cloud. The simulations are executed by MIKE Cloud. It is designed to be used in planning (hindcast) and/or operational forecast mode.
To obtain the right to access to DHI PlumeCast, the user's company needs to have purchased a company subscription of DHI PlumeCast, and registered as a tenant in MIKE Cloud.
In addition, the user needs to be able to log into MIKE Cloud and have access to a project folder on the Cloud Platform for storing the extracted data (access to this is controlled by an administrator from the user's company).
Follow the below step-by-step onboarding process:
#01 - Activating your Cloud platform
As a Cloud-based product no installation is required.
You just need to activate the link sent by Microsoft. Please trust the invitation by following the screen instructions. Multi-Authentication is required.
