The DHI License Manager in version 2025 is backwards compatible with earlier versions of MIKE no earlier than version 2017, which means when using the DHI License Manager in version 2025, you will be able to connect and retrieve the license from earlier versions of the software.
But MIKE 2026 and MIKE 2025 are completely independent. You must use the new DHI License Management 2026 to connect to MIKE 2026 and the old DHI License Manager to connect to MIKE 2025 and earlier.
Conclusion
The DHI License Manager in version 2025 is backwards compatible with earlier versions of MIKE no earlier than version 2017. But you must install DHI License Manager 2026 for MIKE software in 2026.
