Question
How to get access to MIKE Cloud Execution?
Answer:
MIKE Cloud Execution is the Cloud service allowing desktop product clients running MIKE models in the Cloud environment. MIKE Cloud Execution supports all desktop products including FEFLOW, MIKE+ and MIKE Zero. Instead of setting up your own Cloud environment, you can easily access this service using 'Credits'.
What are Credits?
Credits are the 'currency' used in MIKE Cloud Execution. The number of credits can be shared among the users within the organization. Credits can be purchased separately as ‘Credit Bundles’ and are valid for 12 months after the purchase or the allocation date.
Credits are embedded on the MIKE Cloud platform which accounts the data storage, user admin and other MIKE Cloud Apps. To get access to MIKE Cloud Execution you need to onboard to the Cloud platform as a user first.
Who can use Credits?
After a new user is onboarded to the Site, the Owner can attribute a specific role to them (i.e. Owner, Contributor or Reader) and determine what they can do. There are several levels of access that allow users to see certain parts of the application only when they have rights. The roles that can access credits are:
Owner: users with this role can administer the Site, see usage statistics, and invite other users (they can determine the roles these new users get). They can run Cloud Applications without restrictions.
Contributor: users with this role can add files to the Site and manage the files in the Site, run Cloud Applications without restrictions, but do not have options to administer the Site.
How to manage your Credits?
All users can see the basic overview of credits available for the site next to the credit icon in the top-right corner of Cloud Admin. See figure 1.
If you also see a triangular warning icon with an exclamation mark then some of your credits will expire soon and should be used before they are lost.
The red exclamation mark icon indicates that some credits are about to expire in 10 days or less. By clicking on the credit icon more details about the expiration dates unfold.
Important: Credits expire on the last day of their validity at midnight UTC (Coordinated Universal Time)
