Good evening to all of you and thank you in advance for your help,
I'm new to MIKE and I'm starting to use it for my thesis with a student online
license.
I have an idealized coastal profile (equilibrium condition with Dean equation)
in MATLAB in the form of array with dept (y) and progressive x (from -10 to 80
meters). I want to import it like txt file (with extention changed in .xyz) in
the MIKE Mesh Generator. I have repeated it in the a third direction to create
an ideal coastline with regular and parallel bathimetry.
I'm using a "Local Coordinates" reference frame because my geometry is not a
real georeferenced one, but is completely invented.
When I use Data > Manage Scatter Data > Add the program give back an error: "Xyz
file has no projection".
I have seen files from DHI examples and also step-by-step guide for mesh
generator, but didn't manage to figure out the problem.
What am I doing wrong?
