Mesh Generation from txt file
Good evening to all of you and thank you in advance for your help, I'm new to MIKE and I'm starting to use it for my thesis with a student online license. I have an idealized coastal profile (equilibrium condition with Dean equation) in MATLAB in the form of array with dept (y) and progressive x (from -10 to 80 meters). I want to import it like txt file (with extention changed in .xyz) in the MIKE Mesh Generator. I have repeated it in the a third direction to create an ideal coastline with regular and parallel bathimetry. I'm using a "Local Coordinates" reference frame because my geometry is not a real georeferenced one, but is completely invented. When I use Data > Manage Scatter Data > Add the program give back an error: "Xyz file has no projection". I have seen files from DHI examples and also step-by-step guide for mesh generator, but didn't manage to figure out the problem. What am I doing wrong? Thank you again
