Dear all,

I don't have Bathymetry dat for my study area, but I have DEM of 2m resolution. Can I use DEM instead of Bathymetry ?

Thanks in advance,

Dear sumit,

the source, where your elevation data comes from, doesn't matter. You have to convert your data into a dfs2 - File with elevations.
MIKE21 offers a possibility to convert ASCII Grids (ESRI ASCII GRIDS) into MIKE21 - dfs2 - Files with the MIKEZERO - Toolbox.

Otherwise you can create DEM directly in MIKE with the Bathymetry - Editor - please refer to the MIKEZERO Online Help.

I have 1 m resolution Lidar dtm data and I have converted this data in to dfs2 file using MIKE Zero Tool box ---> GIS ---> Grid2Mike . But still facing a problem in using dfs2 file... Please can any one explain how to import this dfs2 file to MIKE Zero... and how to consider the co-ordinate system in this operation..
