MIKE 1D 2D coupling by MIKE+

I am developing a 2D hydrodynamic model for coastal inundation. I used MIKE 21 FM flow model for that where I used spherical coordinate system (Lat-Long). I want to add upstream rivers and want to do 1D model and coupling with 2D model. Is it possible to do MIKE 1D by Mike+ having spherical coordinate system?
