Hello everybody,

I am using Feflow v5.1 and unfortunately the SAMG solver is not available (which I think is the default solver in later versions). I am trying to simulate a considerably big coastal aquifer using a density dependent model, which results in a FE mesh with a large number of elements and nodes. I was wondering if anyone knows how much time could I save using SAMG solver instead of the PCG in  cases like this. Maybe this is a good chance to upgrade my version!!!  ???

Thank you very much for your help,

George

DHI-WASY can give you a test license for a short time so that you can try how much time you would save. Please contact sales@dhi-wasy.de for this.
