axisymmetric 2D model

For 2D axisymmetric model in FEFLOW, does it have to represent a cross section of a cylinder? Can it represent a cross section of a truncated cone (using a plane parallel to the lateral surface)?

I'm not sure if I got this right, but if the right-hand side of the outer boundary is inclined instead of vertical then you'd have a section of a truncated cone. No problem with this.
