Hi. I`m a pDh student and I'm doing a geothermal model with FEFLOW. I have to enter a mining galleries that I have made ??in autocad. When I try to generate the mesh I get the error: Out of memory!
may be due to this and how I can rectify it?
thanks

The most likely reason for this is that your AutoCad file contains either points with very small distances or edges with very small angles in between. The mesh generator then tries to generate extremely small elements and thus extremely high numbers of elements, using all the memory available on your system.

In autocad you get frequently overlap polygons: when you import the dxf file as supermesh I suggest to try the "move node" option in classic view. In this way you can observe if supermesh are imported rightly
