Introduce gaps in time series via ifm

Is it possible to introduce gaps in time series via ifm?

I think you can introduce gaps by setting nan values to a certain time (not a number), but I've never tried.

Indeed it works.

Maybe it is worthy for other users: you can work with value = float("nan") and pass this to the API function in order to create the power value. I think a numpy NAN definition should also work.
