The results of my model are being strongly affected by error-norm-flow areas. Error-norm-flow maximum values are above 0,9. There is no conductivity or other hidraulic properties' gradients because I am giving the same values to all cells and for the 3 dimensions of the space (it is a 3D regional model) I refined the mesh in those error-norm-flow areas to try solve the problem but it was as if nothing has been done (except extra computing time when siluating due to more mesh cells). How can I overcome this issue once refining the mesh doesn'tsolve it?

Hi Emilia, Refinement is not necessary the solution. You should look for the Mesh Quality. How good is the mesh if you plot the Max. Interior Angle of triangles? For example, if you do the refinement in bad-shaped triangles, then the situation will become even worst. Why are you using the Error Norm (max.)? Thanks, I will contact Mike support. I did as you suggest and checked the Max interior angle of triangles but those areas have triangles all in the green or, the worst ones, are a bit above the 90º. No Delauney violations. Thanks again for the reply, I learned a bit more.
