Hydraulic Head & Multilayer Well

Hi everybody,

I would be very grateful for some explanations. I can not figure out how to input hydraulic head (as an initial conditions) or how to prepare data for hydraulic head input [u]when screens of the piezometers are located in more than two layers[/u]. I have steady model with 5 layers. Hopefully the question is not too basic for you, I'm quite new in FEFLOW.

Hi,

You can run a steady-state simulation. When the model run completes, save the FEM file and subsequently advance it to a transient simulation. No need of importing initial hydraulic heads.
Moreover, the import of any parameter, which requires data regionalization is carried out via the Link to Parameter option. You may take a look in the "How To" section in the FEFLOW Help.
