Simulate a spring with feflow

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone had any idea of how simulate the presence of a spring in a fractured aquifer; I have seen some papers that deal with springs such as wells: is that correct?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

You can use a constant head boundary, with a constraint on it, so that it releases water only when the head is above ground surface. If you know the spring is present, then its a good way to test the model.

Hi udju, thank you for the answer. I have another question: if I consider the spring as a constant head boundary then how do to insert the constraint that you say? because the FEFLOW allows me to insert a constraint related to the min/max discharge value of the spring.
Thanks

Use seepage face BC to represent springs (subset of the constant head BC)
