Hi guys,
I've a pair of questions for those of you that are skilled with time series and BC assignment.

I've realized a 3D model of a river valley, with constant hydraulic head BC to simulate both upstream groudwater level and the sea. Also the river has been represented by using a constant hydraulic head BC on the nodes along the river track.
Model has been calibrated in steady state and now I have to pass to transient flow with 5 time steps.

1)
Problems came from the river:every node along the river track has a own Hydraulic Head BC value, these values assigned on the basis of ground level of the node (by using the "current expression" tool).

How can I assign the time series (pair of values for each time step) to each node all at once?
It is possible to  assign a time series using one of available tools like assignment by expression?

2)
considering the five time steps how can I turn off the Constant hydraulic head BCs along the river in the third time step, i.e.:

Time step --- BC
1        --- BC#1
2        --- BC#2
3        --- no assigned Hydraulic head BC
4        --- BC#4
5        --- BC#5

Is it possible?
How?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I can answer to myself to the second question:

in Feflow 6.2 time series it's possible to switch off a BC of any kind!

...and I can answer to the second question too:

1) assuming that a .pow file has already been created with all needed time series (TS), each having its own ID,

2) it's possible export the node number (NN) for each node on wich we want to assign a time series

3) in excel join TS and NN (on the basis of xy coordinate, for example) and save it in a  X,Y,TS,NN  .dat file

4) load in feflow both .pow file (time series) and .dat file (X,Y,TS,NN)

5) link TS field with parameter of interst (HH BC in this case) being sure to select the "Time-varyng" option in the Parameter Association form.

It's triky workaround but it works.

ciao
