FEFLOW batch mode iconic state

What does "iconic state" mean? (FEFLOW batch mode argument -iconic)?

when uising the "-iconic"-option, FEFLOW starts in interactive mode (with the GUI), but minimized. Usually, you prefer "-hidden" mode (since it yields the better performance).

Iconic state does not help for performance. You should better use the -hide option to improve performance.
