I am seeking assistance with Mike Eco Lab, which I am using to simulate ecological processes in a coastal lagoon in Italy. I am running simulations for the entirety of 2021, but I am encountering a problem where the simulations are getting slower and slower over time.

Initially, a run used to last 2-3 hours with the same mesh and solution techniques. However, over the weeks, the run time has significantly increased to up to 10 hours for each run. I have tried resetting the calibration constants to their default values, but this did not solve the issue. I am wondering if this could be a cache problem, as I have run over 200 simulations.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem with this software and knows how to solve it? Perhaps there is a cache that needs to be emptied or some other solution to this issue? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
