    Did you ever resolve this? I've had issues with the creation of .fpo and .fpi files before, I was never able to say for certain what caused the issue because it seemed to happen at random, but things seemed to improve when I stopped using OneDrive and started saving all of the FePEST files locally to my harddrive. 

    My understanding is the .fpo and .fpi files get created when you initiate the FePEST run, so I'd look for things that potentially interfere with file creation - cloud synchronisation issues, admin permissons, special characters in file paths, long file path lengths (above 256 characters) - and see if you're able to observe any issues there. Also worth trying to run the file on a different computer if you can and also test whether this happens with all FePEST files you try to run or if it is specific to just this one file. 

    If you're able to send your files to the FEFLOW support team (mike@dhigroup.com) they're usually pretty good and telling you whether there are any problems with how you've setup your input file.
