Re: Steady State Model Run
Hey
It only runs for one time step because steady state is only a picture taken at a specific moment so to say. You don't need to run it for long because theoretically everything stays the same. Nothing changes with time.
I guess you could just turn on the transient flow option in the problem class menu. Then it is possible to assign a time step. As long as you input steady state data it should run as if it was in steady state.
I don't know about your pumping though. Did you assign a well boundary condition? -
Presentation of pathlines
I am a FEFLOW 5.2 user. I built a 3D model computing fluid flow only.
I figured out how the pathline option works but my problem is that I would like to zoom into my pathlines more to make them visible better. Zooming in doesn't work while using the 3D option menu though.
The relief of my model has a hill on one side so that FEFLOW makes the rest of the layers appear somehow small. I attached a picture for better visualization. I can't cut the hill off since the cut option doesn't work with the pathlines. Can I somehow save my pathlines and open them in the FEFLOW Viewer or the FEFLOW Explorer because I can zoom in in those?
I know that you can save pathlines in a shp file but when I open that one in ArcScene it does not appear in 3D and I need them in 3D.
I would be grateful for any comment.
