Hi Everybody,

I am quite new using MIKE 11. I would like to model a bridge in two time steps (before-after breaking) in order to analyze its influence in the wave propagation along a river. What I want to do is to model all the river with a standing bridge (lets say) for 20 min until the bridge collapses, and then model the river without the bridge. Did someone deal with this type of modeling?
I think the "hotstart" option is the most suitable way to do this, isnt it? For this, should I split the river into two parts (one until the bridge, and the second from the bridge)? or is there another way to handle this?

Any help dealing with this problem will be really appreciated.
