  • mesh problem

Could anybody tell me how can I divide the 2D vertical mesh into layers and assign parameters  at each layer

    Thanks in advance

  • initial aquifer case

Before beginning to simulate seawater intrusion within a coastal aquifer, how can I make the aquifer fully saturated with fresh water (initial case)

    Thanks in advance

  • coastal aquifer problem

I have the following problem, a coastal aquifer composed of 3 layers. By using 2D vertical projection option of FEFlow, can I simulate the development of freshwater-seawater interface from the first layer to the successive stages of second and third layers. If it is possible to do that what is the type of mesh that must be developed and how can I divide or add the second and third layers to the first one. Also, I have a series of sea-level fluctuation history at each layer, so how can I model this for each layer. Any suggestions
    Thank You for help
  • help needed please

Hi everyone, I want to simulate a simple theoretical 2D vertical cross section in an unconfined coastal aquifer as a preparation to build a real aquifer situation. So, i just want to build this model and test the different effect of aquifer parameters on relation between sea and freshwater and distribution of hydraulic head. I already go through the FEflow manual and tutorial but I can not know how can i begin like how can i determine the dimensions of my problem and who can i assign the flow boundaries and flow initials. So, Please if anyone could tell me the steps to build such a simple case. Thank You
