Question
How to authorize a termed ArcGIS Pro license?

Answer
A termed ArcGIS Pro license is provided to subscription packages with MIKE+ ArcGIS Model Manager included. The license is a time-limited, single use license with access to ArcGIS Pro Standard in connection with MIKE+.

As of 1st-Apil-2026 the format of the license file has modified from .eslf to .prvc. From a client perspective, the authorization process remains the same and the password is no longer needed.

Before authorizing the termed license, please make sure to install MIKE+ and ArcGIS Pro separately on your PC.

#01 Save the termed license on your PC

#02 From Start Menu, open ArcGIS Pro and click on ‘Configure licensing’

#03 Choose the license type as ‘Single Use License’ and ‘Standard’ as License Level, then click on ‘Authorize’ (see Fig. 1).
