Answer:
# 01 The error might be caused by the incorrect ‘Server ID’ or ‘User key’ entered in the ‘DHI License Manager 2026’.

Please double-check the information listed in the invitation letter and make sure there are no typos or spaces in between.

#02 The error can also indicate a firewall block issue.

We suggest that you contact your company's IT to whitelist the URL and ports used to communicate with the internet license server. The DHI License Manager 2026 requires outbound HTTPS access to the FlexNet Operations license server for online activation and license validation.

Please allow outbound traffic with the following details for version 2026:

Protocol: HTTPS
Port: 443
FQDN (Domain):flex13062.compliance.flexnetoperations.eu

This endpoint is hosted by Flexera (FlexNet Operations cloud licensing platform).

Please note:

  • Only the base domain needs to be whitelisted.

  • The additional path and parameters that appear after .eu/ are dynamic and do not require separate whitelisting.

  • TLS 1.2 or higher must be permitted.

  • DNS resolution for flexnetoperations.eu must be allowed.

If your security policy requires broader domain-level access, the following can be permitted instead:

*.flexnetoperations.eu

#03 If the issue persists, please send us these log files:
  • LicAdapter.log

Location:
C:\Users{user-name}\AppData\Roaming\DHI\LicSys

If you cannot find this folder, it may be hidden. In File Explorer, go to:
View > Show > Hidden items

You can also paste this into the File Explorer address bar:
%AppData%\DHI\LicSys
