How does DHI store and process data when a client uses a DHI Internet License?

This article focuses on one of DHI's software services named as 'DHI Internet License'.
The Internet license is typically activated with a login containing a username and a password. The username is created using the client's E-mail address. The password can be changed by the client at any time within a user interface named as 'DHI Internet License Portal'.
No data is stored directly in the 'Internet License Portal', but there is data stored in connection with the DHI license system. Such information consists of company and license information, user information and log information.
#01 - Company and license information on purchasing details
Company name, company id, order id, license version, license modules, license limitations (validity, max users, max seats etc.)
#02 - User information entered by Customer Care or the client when creating users, used to generate a user id
- Mandatory information: email address, name, office, country and password hash used for generating access to the internet license(s)
- Voluntary information may also be provided by the client: order id, telephone number, address, business unit
These data can be edited or deleted at any time through the Internet License Portal.
#03 - Log of the use of internet license modules containing the following information
- Client related: company id, session id, user id, timestamps, external IP, internal IP, hostname, offline mode, license start and expiry date, maximum user no. (exhaustive list)
- License module related (non-client data): MIKE product version no., name of license module used in MIKE Product, license id, end reason no. etc. (non-exhaustive list)
These data will be stored for 1.5 years and some log information is also accessible from the portal.
