Question
How can I start using MIKE Data Link?

Answer
MIKE Data Link is a new cloud application that provides quick and easy online access to global MetOcean and Meteorological hindcast datasets. Selected data for boundary conditions, initial conditions and forcings can be exported into files in dfs format ready for import into the MIKE 21, MIKE 3 and MIKE 21 SW models.

To obtain the right to access to MIKE Data Link, the user's company needs to have purchased a company subscription of MIKE Data Link.

In addition, the user needs to be able to log into MIKE Cloud and have access to a project folder on the Cloud Platform for storing the extracted data (access to this is controlled by an administrator from the user's company).

Where to start?
One can open Data Link in two different ways:

#01 - Via a log-in to MIKE Cloud Admin (from here you can open Data Link) - see Fig. 1

#02 - Via the MIKE Zero shell. This requires that you are already logged into MIKE Cloud - see Fig. 2

Conclusion
Once inside Data Link, you start working by defining the model domain - see Fig. 3
