Question
Where can I find enhanced meta files (.emf) to use as point symbols in the presentation graphics?

Answer
It is possible to visualize particles or point values by enhanced meta files (.emf) as an alternative to the pre-defined vector symbols.

The use of .emf files as symbols includes the possibility of scaling and rotating the symbol which can improve the description of data, e.g. using arrow symbols to visualize size and direction of wave data or using a fish symbol to illustrate the behavior of a special component derived from an ABM simulation.

Please see Animation Example: Visualizing time-varying input wave data in domain

You can create .emf files yourself by using 3rd party software or you can download .emf files from the internet.  You can find the collection of useful .emf files shown in Related Attachment located in zip-file attachment at the bottom of the page.
