Can I output details regarding heat flux from my MIKE FM simulation?
Answer
Yes. This is possible.
Solution
It is possible to output heat flux data by manually modifying the parameter storage = 1 in the [HEAT_EXCHANGE] section in the input file (the default value is 0) - see example in Fig. 1

This will enforce the output of the following 6 additional items in all output files of the type '2D (horizontal)':
- Sensible heat flux
- Latent heat flux
- Net short wave radiation
- Net long wave radiation
- Ground heat flux
- Total heat flux (from all processes)
