excavation in feflow

Hello,

I have tow question:

I want to simulate an excavation in feflow. I have a 3D model with three layer and four slices.

My first question is how to modulate the excavation. I don’t know if I put a seepage face in the bottom of the excavation or in the bottom of excavation and the slope of the excavation.

My second question is:

I want to determine the flow of seepage coming out of my model after excavation.

I don’t now how to determine this flow (budget analyzer or fluid flux analyzer)

I send to you a cross section of my model before and after excavation.

I'd put the seepage face both to the bottom and slopes. The flows can be calculated using the budget analyzer or an observation point group. The fluid flux analyzer is not suitable here.
