Hi,

I have just received the following error message in my MIKE 21 simulation, abnormal completion due No. of points exceeded for demo-version.  However I not using demo version, I have checked other simulations and they are working for me.

Can someone please help me, I believe its an error with the inlet boundary but I can't seem to fix the problem.

Thank you.

Hi Aileen,

please check, if the box INLAND FLOODING in the menu module selection is checked.

Thank you Christian

I am just re-simulating the M21 model with inland checked.

Thank you for your help.

Aileen,

Supplementing the solution reply from Christian Tomsu, I would only like to add the explanation that you will need to activate the 'Inland Flooding' checkbox when making 2D-simulations because you are holding a MIKE FLOOD license.
The MIKE FLOOD license requires to have this 'Inland Flooding' check-mark activated when used for simulations (coupled 1D-2D or stand-alone 2D), whereas a MIKE 21 license (coastal oriented 2D modelling) does not require you to activate the Inland flooding checkbox. So it is a requirement depending on your license-type.

Torben
