difference between speed up factor and time step factor

hello all

i have built a model using mike 21 coupled model FM, and i want to know what is meant by the and the use of "Time step factor" in Time Parameters" and "speed up factor in Model definition step" in Morphology? and how would they make difference in the results or the simulation running time? it would be very helpful if given a brief example...

You can find the definitions of those parameters in the help file and in MIKE 21 manual that comes with the software.
