Hi,

you need to start with creating a bathymetry file that holds buildings, roads and elevation data. See my post from today,

Hi
1  please prepare Mike 11 file with successful run

2 Set up Mike 21 file with correct bathymetry and run without error.

3 set up Mike Flood and attache these 2 file and run .

Ask if you face some error later.

Good luck

There's a tab name Maps in HD Parameters file, which allows generating flood maps around cross-sections. But I meet crash when running simulation with it, and the results isn't usable. I'm still running version 2007. Maybe the newer version can fix this problem. You can try.

As lepetitchu said, you can do it automatically in MIKE11 in the HD file. You'll of course need a DTM/DEM for this.
A more detailed method which offers some more choices for map editing is to use Flood Toolbox if you have a license for it.

Hope it works out for you!
