Hi Everyone,

I am working on cross section editor.
I have used the MIKE 11 GIS and DEM data to generate the cross-section file.
But when I looked at it, the z values in tabular view confused me. The values of z are approximately 12 meter for each cross section. In fact, my study area is a very shallow river and the water depth is supposed to be around 5 meter.

What's the z values represent? Does it represent the water depth or other thing else?

Looking forward to hearing your replies.
Thanks in advance.

Regards
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,

The Z-values in the cross section editor always represent absolute levels!

In fact, practically all level-related input data in MIKE 11 are to be specified as absolute levels.
