Hello,

I am trying to import some files defining permeability (K, m/s) and storage compressibility = storativity coefficient (S, no unit) in the Flow Materials section.
I first tried using the permeability .SHP file. It has been well imported, but the Mesh Inspector shows there is "no data" (no K value linked to the .SHP file areas).
Then, I tried to link the .SHP file to a .DAT file, built as following (.XLS - .TXT - .DAT):

ID0  value0
ID1  value1
and so on...
END

(ID0 is the polygon number created under Arcview software)
...but it didn't work.
Is my .DAT file correctly built? Is it a good idea?

Thanks a lot for your answer(s)
(i am using Feflow 5.2)

Are you trying with Assign / Database? On my Feflow 5.3, I'm not allowed to regionalize starting from a polygon SHP. I need a point SHP.
Where have you linked the SHP with the DAT? On Arcview? If so, the link is just internal to the GIS.
Have you checked to be working with Global coordinates if your SHP is in site coordinates?
