A question about the BHE point and its surrounding points

hello,
in FeFLOW BHE is represent by a single point(P) see from  the surface , but I want to know should we design the mesh around  point P in such a way that the the distance from the around mesh points to point P meets the physical radius of borehole wall which we defined in BHE setting menu?

I recommend to go through the White Papers, Vol. V, chapter 1.11 (http://feflow.info/uploads/media/white_papers_vol5_02.pdf). This contains a detailed discussion of the influence of discretization around the BHE on the results.
