Hello,
I am very new to modelling with FEFLOW, and I cannot find any relevant online
resources to help me with my problem. I want to model the saltwater
contamination at a site, and then see if a freshwater bell will occur by
injecting freshwater at a 30year period. I know the salt concentration for every
depth so I have entered this as an initial concentration at every slice and also
I have put the boundary condition as the same. so e.g the first slice i have
entered 4000 mg/l on the whole slice as mass concentration and for boundary
conditions I have entered 4000mg/l on the north/south border. I dont know if
this is the way to go but when i run the model the first slice is always at a
concentration of around 2900 mg/L in the center and a harsh line of 4000mg/L on
the borders.
How do I fix this?
